Bob's Cafe

Your search for an all-day-café is over!

Bob’s Café is a family and community focused restaurant with venues in Queen’s Park, Muswell Hill and Mill Hill. The creators and founders have been in the restaurant business for many years and have created a variety of successful concepts for different eateries including Giraffe. They saw a gap in the market for an all-day-café, and so with the addition of seasonal menus and some of the friendliest service in London, Bob’s Café was born!

They serve the best breakfast dishes (and as a regular I can vouch for the blueberry buttermilk pancakes), steak frites, handmade burgers, healthy salads and a great selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes; all complemented by a hand-picked wine list, craft beers and cocktails.

Since their first restaurant opened in Queen’s Park in November 2016, Bob’s Café has celebrated the successful opening of two more venues, at Muswell Hill in May 2017 and Mill Hill in April 2018. All three places are located on great high streets which are busy with families.

With interior inspiration coming from a variety of other restaurants and venues, both in the UK and abroad, Bob’s Café creates a calm and inviting atmosphere for diners with lots of plants and greenery. The all-day-café’s décor of exposed brickwork, hanging plants and marcrame makes it the perfect spot for a weekend brunch date, while also still being a cosy space to spend an evening.

Food for the restaurant is sourced locally where possible, using fresh seasonal ingredients. Their delicious direct trade hand-roasted Union coffee is carefully crafted, blending coffees from smallholder farms in Timana, Columbia and Primavera Brazil. Their suppliers work directly with the farmers, making sure to pay them a fair price so they can invest in their farms, families and workers.

Lauren, the Marketing Manager at Bob’s Café, explains that with the ever changing seasonal foods, comes potential new favourite dishes for customers and staff alike. The salmon sushi salad and the vegan chilli bowl are some of Lauren’s favourite picks from the current menu.

The friendly atmosphere at Bob’s Café makes it a family favourite, and they run kids activities every school holiday – ranging from beading bracelets and decorating biscuits to potting plants. They also hold wine tasting evenings where they pair wines and foods from around the world.
